With over 40 years combined experience, our service technicians have a wide range of experience on a variety of systems. Our service technicians can also install gas lines for items such as new ranges and BBQs. Many of our customers prefer "their" technician and will consistently ask for technicians by name. All of our technicians pride themselves on their customer service, but Derek, Al and Eric even receive compliments on service websites such as Angie's List.
Our Technicians
Derek
Derek has been with Delta for over 15 years and is now the Service Manager. When he is not supporting the service team or helping customers, he can be found helping our installation teams. In addition to his other certifications, Derek has PTCS certification for Commissioning as well as PTCS Duct Seal certification. Derek may also be found doing estimates when Glenn is unavailable.
Alfredo
Alfredo speaks Spanish fluently and helps the office when needed with translations. Loved by his customers, he has been with Delta for over 10 years. He came to Delta with prior experience and has built a strong customer base. Though Delta Heating & Cooling is a residential service company, Al also has experience in light commercial appliance repair. This allows him to support customers that may have unique issues with in home items such as wine coolers/chillers.
Preventative Maintenance
What is a Preventative Maintenance Plan?
Regularly scheduled service can reduce breakdowns and lower utility bills. By having maintenance scheduled to inspect your homes system in heating and cooling, potential problems can be corrected inexpensively before causing major damage, helping to control repair bills. The maintenance plan is not an insurance policy. It provides for regularly scheduled maintenance during normal business hours Monday through Friday. It does not cover service calls between maintenance checks or emergency/after hours service, however it does provide a 15% discount for regular repair rates/services performed beyond maintenance. Humidifiers and fireplaces can also be listed in a preventative maintenance contract for an additional fee.
Service is schedule for twice a year (each Spring and Fall) where technicians will:
- Check the proper operation of the contactors, condensor, and evaporator coils
- Check the proper operations of motors and compressors
- Check freon pressures and coil temperatures
- Check electrical connections
- Check belt wear, tension and alignment
- Check supply voltage/amp draw
- Look for leaks in the system
- Check flame sensors and burners (gas furnaces)
- Check flue for operation (gas furnaces)
Please note: we do not work on oil furnaces or independent wall/window air conditioners.
