Delta takes environmental responsibility seriously.
We believe being green begins with awareness and opening our eyes to better and more thoughtful service and installation methods that reduce our company's environmental impact, while often enhancing the energy efficiency of your home at the same time. The greater care and leading-edge procedures we incorporate in our daily work saves you in operating costs, lengthens the life of your home comfort equipment (reducing waste), and helps our environment.
- We recycle and carefully manage all refrigerants to prevent release into the atmosphere, potentially harming the ozone, or polluting our air.
- All of our service technicians are Type 1 and Type 2 HVAC refrigerant certified.
- All of our installation technicians are RRP Lead Paint certified.
- We began using mandated environmentally safer refrigerants in 2006 when only 3% of heating and cooling contractors were doing so.
- We recycle copper, steel, iron, wood, mercury, thermostats, paper and cardboard on a regular basis.
